LOCATION Bacolod City

The city at night was a canvas of light and texture. Streetlights cast golden halos on empty roads, their glow mingling with the soft hum of passing cars. A gasoline station stood under flickering fluorescent lights, its pumps silent but ready. Nearby, a 7/11 convenience store spilled green and red hues onto the sidewalk, its automatic doors quietly whooshing open for the few late-night wanderers.

Christmas lights draped over shop windows added a festive sparkle, their colors reflecting off rain-slicked streets. The photographer moved through it all, framing each scene with care—the glow of a gas station sign, the symmetry of a 7/11 aisle, and the way Christmas lights lit up tired storefronts. Each click of the shutter captured the unique charm of urban photography at night, where mundane places turned magical under the city’s quiet, luminous spell.
